My primary focus is identifying, assessing and developing young horses. To be able to transition a horse from their raw uneducated framework to a successful competition athlete is not only one of the most challenging pursuits one can follow, it is also one of the most rewarding.
The key objective moving forward in my career is to continue to broaden my knowledge, further develop my own skill set and grow my client base along with the quality of stock that I am competing. To represent Australia at the World Equestrian Games or the Olympics is the pinnacle of our sport and it is a driving ambition of mine to reach that level. With the continued support of my family, clients and sponsors I look forward to continue to present and compete my horses to the best of the ability.

I am one of few riders to compete at Grand Prix dressage and 3 star level eventing. Covering two Olympic disciplines and achieving nationally recognised results, including being listed on National Development squads for four years.
As a professional rider I am pretty ambitious, like most it goes without saying that you’d love to ride in an Olympic Games. It is also as important to me just to be the best I possibly can be and to never stop learning and improving my skills. I have never loved riding more than I do now simply because I am surrounded by good people and have exciting horses to ride. I am so grateful and humbled by the support given from Equine Lending Solutions. Hopefully with the opportunities given to me I am able to reach my goals and dreams.
Andrew Cooper

Cooper Performance Horses
Andrew is an accomplished event rider who is from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria where he manages ‘Cooper Performance Horses’, a competition, training and breaking-in business. He has ridden up to 4* level on a number of different horses and consistently competes a large team of horses at events in NSW, VIC and SA. Andrew has been listed on the National Recognition Squad for 2016 and was named on the National Young Rider Squad over 4 consecutive years.
Andrew’s long-term goal is to ride for Australia at the World Equestrian Games and Olympics. His main focus for 2016 is to place successfully in the CCI**** at the Australian International 3 Day Event.
